I used several firefighter exam preparation
books.  I found Barron's Firefighter Exams  to
be the most helpful.
The following scenarios are sample oral passages followed with sample
questions.  Oral passages are commonly found in firefighter written exams.  This
section of the test is designed to measure listening and comprehension skills.
Candidates cannot take handwritten notes while the oral passage is read.

Select the passage below you would like to hear.  After listening to the passage
proceed to the questions.
